About Flunk

Set in Lilydale, Victoria, Flunk is a critically acclaimed LGBT teen drama series exploring sexuality, substance abuse and identity. The first season focuses on shy sixteen year old Ingrid, as she falls for her best friend Stella – and is forced to juggle the pressures of a country high school and conservative Chinese-Australian family.

Shot in a gritty, handheld style, with new faces and improvised dialogue, the series has attracted a passionate international fanbase, with millions of views in Australia and overseas, spurring merchandise sales and fan art.

Flunk stars Akasha Collins, Beaudene Perussich, Jessica Li, Caylen Forbes, Kelsie Schulz, Olivia Wright, Lin Yin & Uisce Goriss-Dazeley as well as guest appearances from Katherine Halliday (‘Heartbreak High’), Sean McIntyre and Ben Nicholas (‘Neighbours’).
