Ingrid is finally starting to move on from Stella — and for once, something in her love life might actually be going right.

With a little interference from Brayden, Ingrid ends up reconnecting with Dani, and what begins as an awkward encounter quickly turns into something that feels suspiciously like a date. But being with someone who is open about who she is forces Ingrid to confront just how terrified she still is of anyone discovering the truth about her.

Things get even more complicated when Ruby spots Ingrid and Dani together. Already struggling with Ruby’s constant digs at school, Ingrid begins to worry that her secret is about to become everyone else’s entertainment.

Meanwhile, Ruby is getting closer to Ed — until a private photo falls into the wrong hands. Brayden thinks he’s finally found a way to give Ruby a taste of her own medicine, but his attempt at revenge crosses a line and sends the drama at school spiralling into something much uglier.

And just as Ingrid begins to believe she might have something real with Dani, another woman from Dani’s past appears — leaving Ingrid wondering whether she’s already about to lose something she’s only just found.

For Ingrid, trusting someone new might be even harder than letting go of the person who hurt her.
