About the movie
Headstrong and fiercely independent, Artemisia isn’t looking for anyone to change her life. But when she finds herself spending more time with musician Daisy, their unlikely friendship begins to develop into something neither of them expected. What starts as teasing and curiosity slowly becomes a deeper connection, forcing Artemisia to question feelings she’s never really had to confront before. Meanwhile, Kerri and Beth are enjoying the early stages of their relationship when a decision involving drugs creates the first serious crack between them. As trust is tested and emotions become harder to ignore, Detention with Daisy follows a group of young people navigating attraction, friendship and the messy reality of figuring out what they want.
