Flunk Open Casting Call

Flunk is looking to cast many new roles for our upcoming season. If you are interested in joining the series, you are invited to submit a self-taped audition video. Note the series is filmed in Melbourne, Australia.

Instructions

Step 1 – Download script

Download the sample scene script here. We’d like to see you read for both characters, Tabby and Heidi, to get a sense of your versatility. Show us what you can do!

Step 2 – Record your self tape.

Using your smartphone/DSLR or video camera, please record a performance of the above scene – a self tape.

Tips:

• Find someone to read opposite you during the audition – the performance is always better when you also have the opportunity to react, rather than just acting solo.
• When recording it’s best not to be too far away from camera so we can hear your clearly.
• Record two versions of the scene; one where you read as Tabby, the other as Heidi.
• Along with the audition scene we also invite you to record a short intro (3 minutes max) telling us a little about yourself, your previous acting experience and why you’d like to be in Flunk.

Step 3 – Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo.

If uploading to YouTube, make sure your video is set to ‘unlisted’, not ‘private’ or ‘public’. If uploading to Vimeo, make sure your video is a downloadable link.
