Brayden is usually the loudest person in the room – always joking, exaggerating and pretending nothing ever gets to him. But when he’s paired with Ingrid for a school photography assignment, she starts to see there may be more underneath all the bravado.

A painfully awkward photo shoot leads Ingrid to Brayden’s house, where she meets his older sister Dani. Confident, sharp and completely unlike her brother, Dani immediately catches Ingrid’s attention – and gives her a glimpse of a life that feels far more open than her own.

Meanwhile, Brayden’s attempts to impress Ingrid go spectacularly wrong. What begins as an innocent lift home turns into another reckless mistake, leaving him terrified of facing the consequences and determined to avoid going home at any cost.

As Ingrid becomes increasingly worried about him, searching for Brayden brings her closer to Dani – and forces her to confront feelings she has been trying hard to ignore.

But when Brayden accidentally discovers Ingrid’s biggest secret, both of them find themselves with something the other desperately doesn’t want exposed.
