Meeting Her Family

Saffron thought she knew Heidi. But the closer they become, the more she realises there’s an entire part of Heidi’s life she has never been allowed to see.

When Heidi repeatedly avoids taking Saffron home, curiosity gets the better of her. What Saffron discovers begins to explain some of Heidi’s anger, defensiveness and fear of relying on anyone — but pushing Heidi to talk about it only creates more tension between them.

Feeling shut out, Saffron turns to Ruby for support. Ruby seems unusually understanding and knows exactly what to say while Saffron is vulnerable. But comfort can become something else very quickly, and another boundary between them begins to blur.

Meanwhile, Dani has successfully avoided choosing between Jaz and Lydia — until both women unexpectedly turn up at the same event. Suddenly her carefree approach to dating becomes much harder to maintain, and Dani has to decide whether honesty is worth risking both relationships.

Elsewhere, Celeste’s determination to live according to her principles begins exhausting Brayden and Ingrid. But as Ingrid challenges Celeste’s impossible standards, the friction between them starts feeling suspiciously like something else.

For Saffron, however, the biggest question is becoming harder to ignore: how much does she really know about the girl she loves?
