Somebody New

After everything that happened at the end of last season, Stella is trying to put her life back together. She’s been given another chance at school, she’s living somewhere new, and she’s determined to act as though everything is fine.

Then she discovers Ingrid is in hospital.

Suddenly, the guilt Stella has been trying to bury becomes impossible to ignore. With Brayden desperate for answers and Ingrid’s family struggling to understand what happened, Stella has to decide how far she’s willing to go to see the person she hurt — even if it costs her the second chance she’s only just been given.

Meanwhile, Dani is attempting to move on with Freya, but Ingrid remains an uncomfortable presence in their relationship. When Dani learns what has happened, old feelings quickly resurface and Freya begins to wonder whether she was ever really more than a rebound.

At school, Stella falls in with outspoken newcomer Heidi, while the much sweeter Tabby finds herself repeatedly caught in Heidi’s firing line. And Ed’s attempts to repair the damage with Ruby take an unexpected turn when she arrives at his door with news that could change both their lives.

For Stella, getting Ingrid back may no longer be possible — but facing what happened might be unavoidable.
